Hewlett Packard has been on the Bulgarian market for over well over decade selling mostly printers and printer supplies. That was until recently.
HP is now opening a call center in Sofia that will provide IT services and technical support to HP clients in EMEA. The initial (ambitious) plans called for the recruitment of over 2,000 IT “experts”. Subsequent communication indicated these targets were revised.
Judging by the tens (if not hundreds) of job adverstisments the focus is twofold: call center operators with SOME IT experience to be trained further and a slew of highly experienced developers and system administrators (Unix).
